Aircraft Engine Equipment for Fixed and Rotor Wing Aircraft

 

Instruments
Powermag has developed a line of aircraft engine instruments for fixed and rotor wing aircraft. These microprocessor controlled instruments provide up to three pointers as well as digital read-outs. Exceedance and memory are provided for maintenance and control.

Fuel Flow

The fuel flow instruments communicate with each other when used in multi-engine aircraft and accumulate data to provide consolidated information. Total fuel used, rate of flow and fuel remaining can be displayed upon command. LCD/LED displays are also available.

Aircraft Instruments
This line of aircraft instruments includes the NX Engine Tachometer, the FFX Fuel Flow meter with totalizing computer, the TTX Turbine Temperature, and OPX Oil Pressure Meter. All meters meet requirements of RTCA/DO-160C when mounted in the housing. The highly visible dot-matrix green LED display provides easy daylight readability within the cockpit for commercial applications and allow ANVIS night-vision compatibility for military applications. An control panel adjustment input varies illumination of meter faceplate backlighting as well as LED intensity.

AC Voltmeter
This AC Voltmeter aircraft instrument is designed to accept a 0-300V input from a generator sensor. The frequency response is DC to 1000 Hz with .01% accuracy. When mounted in the housing, it meets requirements set forth in RTCA/DO-160C. The highly visible LED display provides easy daylight readability within the cockpit for commercial applications. Display filters used in the nitrogen pressurized housing faceplate allow ANVIS night-vision compatibility for military applications.
